Get up and move for at least 1 minute for every 30 minutes you spend sitting to help minimize its harmful effects. The frequency of your breaks is more important than the duration. So 2 minutes of activity after an hour of sitting is NOT just as good. How frequently do you get up when you work at your desk?

An often overlooked culprit behind upper shoulder pain and tightness is restriction of the latissismus dorsi muscles.
