With the increase in red light cameras across Windsor, we want to share an important reminder about funeral processions.

All vehicles must come to a complete stop at red lights. Funeral processions do not have special privileges under traffic laws, and proceeding through a red light at a camera-controlled intersection may result in a ticket.

Our priority is always the safety of every person in the procession and the community around us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

After more than 20 years with our team, we are proud to celebrate Maureen’s retirement.

Maureen has always been the quiet heart behind the scenes at Families First. Her presence has been felt in every room, every facility, and in the many ways she helped families feel supported during difficult moments.

While many may not recognize Maureen’s face, they would certainly recognize her work — especially the homemade cookies she baked with her own recipe, love, and care. What might seem like a small gesture often became a moment of comfort for families who needed it most.

Maureen was a bright light for our team — always offering thoughtful ideas, encouraging us to improve, and helping us maintain the highest standards in everything we do.

Thank you, Maureen, for your dedication, your friendship, and the care you gave so freely to our community.

Your presence will be deeply missed, but your impact will always be part of Families First.
