Families First

Families First We don’t just plan funerals, we help tell life stories. At Families First we honour and remember the uniqueness of each human life.

Since 1996, Families First has provided personal, meaningful celebrations of life that reflect each unique journey, with care, compassion, and a commitment to honouring every life. We are dedicated to the loving and sensitive care of families in times of need.

Join us for our Grieving Hearts seminar series, a compassionate evening of support, understanding, and guidance led by Christine MacMillan, BSW, MSW, RSW.

On February 11, Grieving the Death of Your Parent will explore a loss that is often overlooked yet deeply profound. On March 11, Grief 101: Important Things You Should Know will address common myths about grief and help you better understand what is truly normal when you are grieving.

Together, we will talk openly about grief, share practical coping tools, and create space for connection and healing.

Being trusted to care for families during such a difficult time is something we never take lightly.

We are grateful to the George Loanidis Family for sharing these kind words and for allowing us to walk beside them with compassion, care, and attention to every detail. It is our privilege to help make an overwhelming moment feel a little easier to navigate.

Thank you for being a part of my life in the physical world, and now a part of my life from the spiritual world.
I know you are always with me, by my side to help and guide me with all of your love...
I know the bond of love we have can never be broken...
Thank you and I love you.
