“I’m good.”
Honestly… this is one of my favourite things to hear from a client.

Because when you say I’m good, it means you’re not feeling bad.
You’re not exhausted.
You’re not overwhelmed.
You’re not sad, stressed, or dragging yourself through the day.

You’re good. And we don’t celebrate that enough.

Think about the last time someone asked, “How are you?”
Did you say “good”?
Or did you launch into “I’m so tired… I’m stressed… I just want to go home…”?

We get so used to talking about how worn down we feel that we forget how powerful it is to simply feel good. To be okay. To be steady. To be in a place where your mind and body feel aligned.

And the truth is—feeling good doesn’t just happen.
We create it.

By moving our bodies.
By showing up for ourselves.
By choosing habits that support our energy instead of drain it.
By doing the small, simple things that remind us we’re capable and worthy.

So today, focus on the things that make you feel good.
Because “good” is a damn good place to be. 💛💪

Let’s talk goals — the big ones, the scary ones, the ones that feel just a little out of reach.

For as long as I can remember, one of my biggest personal goals has been to bench press a plate on each side. I still remember the very first time I got it up… and then shortly after, I injured myself and had to drop the weight right back down.

I built back up, hit it again…
And now?
It’s a regular part of my routine.

There is something so satisfying and so special about hitting a goal you’ve had in your heart for years. But here’s your reminder:

👉 Goals take work.
👉 Goals take time.
👉 And it’s SO easy to quit when progress feels slow.

But when you stick with it — through the setbacks, the frustrations, the days you don’t feel strong — the feeling of finally achieving that goal?
Unmatched. Life-changing. Worth every second.

So whatever your “one-plate bench” looks like… keep chasing it.
Your future self is going to be so damn proud you didn’t quit. 💥

🥣 Public Service Announcement: Soup Season is Here!

Let’s talk about one of my favourite things in the world — soup. The possibilities are endless. You can really do whatever you want — swap noodles for potatoes, cream for milk, add extra carrots, toss in spinach (yes, even in chicken noodle!), or skip ingredients you don’t love altogether.

For all my friends who get a little intimidated by cooking — here’s your reminder: cooking is just one big experiment. You add, taste, adjust, and make it your own. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

Soup is one of those magical things that works whether you’ve got 20 minutes or 2 hours, whether you want something you can freeze for later or pack in a thermos for lunch. It’s cozy, nourishing, and totally customizable.

In this house, it’s a staple for all the right reasons ❤️

We’re all guilty of waiting for the perfect moment.
The perfect photo.
The perfect workout.
The perfect day to start.

But here’s the thing — perfection doesn’t exist.

Didn’t get a PR today? Pat yourself on the back for showing up and putting in the work.
Ordered supper instead of cooking? You still made sure your family was fed — that’s a win.
Didn’t post that photo because it wasn’t “perfect”? Post it anyways — real life is what people connect with most.

We are so quick to celebrate perfection, but what about effort? Consistency? The small wins that actually make up our lives?

Let’s celebrate that.
The messy, beautiful, perfectly imperfect effort that keeps us moving forward.
