In our world, it's become so normalized to always be busy, rushing and stressed. 🏃‍♂️😣

But this is not normal, and it's not healthy.

An important lesson I've learned is how to slow down and honor how my body is feeling.

This hasn't been easy to do as I have held beliefs from the collective that it is lazy to slow down and rest. But this is not true.

Finding simple habits I can use to slow down and create moments of peace has helped.

At first, it can feel uncomfortable to slow down when you are so used to moving fast.

The more often you practice slowing down, the easier and more natural it becomes.

Remember that taking time to care for yourself is a necessity, not an option. 🩷

Peace is found within ☮️

You can't rely on external factors for your peace.

You must cultivate it within yourself.

Take moments to go within, practice meditation and mindfulness, feel and release stuck emotions, and you will start to calm the chaos inside you.

Peace out in the world starts within each of us.
