🌸Spring Beginner Pilates Session

Location: Spire Physiotherapy 
Date: March 6 - May 8
Time: Fridays 6:45-7:30pm

Instructor: Christa Rusk, Stott Pilates Instructor
Cost: $160 (7 sessions)

Class minimum: 5
Class maximum: 12

FAQ: What is the difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates?

Mat Pilates uses a mat as the primary piece of equipment and may occasionally include small props such as exercise bands or blocks. Your own body weight provides most of the resistance.

Reformer Pilates uses a large piece of equipment called a reformer, which incorporates springs to add resistance and support during exercises.

At Spire, we currently offer Mat Pilates classes only.

Block Workshop Coming up Soon!

Early Spring Block Therapy Workshop 🌼

Location: Spire Physiotherapy 
Date: February 22
Time: Sunday 1-3pm

Instructor: Heather Whitla, Certified Personal Trainer and Block Therapy Instructor 
Cost: Full Body for $30

This Workshop is a two hour Block Therapy exploration of the whole body. We will spend one hour exploring the upper half of the body and work our way down to explore the lower half of the body.

Thank you, Spire Community, for all your generous donations this past month! 💛

Whether you were a client who brought something to your appointment, a community member who popped in, or someone who joined us for our Gal-entines workout — you are so appreciated.

Because of you, our grand total of feminine hygiene products and baby supplies surpassed $1000 in donated items.

At today’s drop-off, we were also spoiled to be joined by Domino’s Sage Creek , who generously donated pizza for the centre occupants — such a thoughtful addition to the day.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the Pelvic & Reproductive Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for supporting our Valentine’s Day Challenge event.

And to the North End Women’s Shelter — thank you for another warm welcome. We’ll be back next year. 🌱

Last weekend to get your donations in for the North End Women's Shelter!

What are we accepting:
- tampons
- pads
- hair/skin products (think those hotel or other samples you will never use)
- laundry detergent and cleaning products
- baby supplies (including wipes, diapers, formula)
- gloves/mitts or hot paws
- socks
- underwear
- dental hygiene products

We are also happy to take care of transferring any other donations you may have to the NEWC as well!
