I hope you and your families are safe and healthy and doing well in this difficult times. This year has been interesting to say the least. I encourage everyone to continue washing your hands, avoid touching your face, physical distance and perhaps a mask if that isn’t possible. These are easy to do and we’ve all gotten good at it by now.

What I’d like to encourage everyone to do the most is to be kind. It feels like there isn’t enough kindness around. It is free and so easy to do. Being kind does as much for you as it does for the person receiving your kindness. When in doubt, be kind. All other times, be kind.

Be kind to yourself and be kind to others.

This is a good view of it... this is why should take the measures that have been recommended (wash your hands, don't touch your face, social distance, quarantine if exposed). It slows the rate of transmission so that our healthcare system can effectively deal with the sickest people. Do the things that are recommended. Interestingly, hoarding toilet paper isn't on that list.

Due to the increase in flues and other illnesses at this time, we remind patients that if you are experiencing cold symptoms or are not feeling well, that you please reschedule your appointment. There will be no charge for cancellations due to illness.
We work with elderly and immunocompromised patients, and we want to ensure that anyone who enters through our clinic remains healthy.

Let's limit the spread of illness - if we slow the spread, we limit the stress on our system. Please remember to wash your hands frequently (for at least 20 seconds), limit hand contact in public, get plenty of rest and hydration, and if you are sick, STAY HOME. We need to be diligent to protect the most vulnerable.
