Red Light Therapy is here!

🚨 How does it work? Not just spiffy looking, Red Light Therapy, (aka low level laser therapy), utilizes specific wavelengths of light to pe*****te human skin and stimulate cellular production. You know those grow lights used on plants - similar dealio.

🚨 Is it just a fad? Scientific studies support Red Light Therapy’s efficacy in pain management; showing significant pain reductions making it effective for treating various pain conditions, including chronic low back pain, joint pain, and muscle injuries. Also it enhances recovery and mobility with additional health benefits such as improved blood circulation and collagen production. Caveat, studies are limited and more clinical trials need to be done.

🚨 What does it feel like? Not much. Disappointing I know. Some do feel the warmth from the lights - but it's minimal. Tingling has been reported as well, however my light isn't that intense.

🚨 Who shouldn't use it? If you have or are taking a medication that increases your skin or eye sensitivity then Red Light is not recommended. Also those with a history of skin cancer should get the clear from their doctor first.

Happy National Pet Day!
Where would I be without my bestest buddies? Without staff... and snuggles! I'd also have a whole lot more bed space. The amount of dog photos on my phone (of them practically in the same position) is vast and every last one of them is precious... Well maybe not the blurred ones.
