Big news for cardiac care in Manitoba ❤️
 
Today at St. Boniface Hospital, Premier Wab Kinew, Health Minister Uzoma Asagwara, and St. Boniface Hospital President & CEO Nicole Aminot announced a $22.1 million provincial investment to restore and expand cardiac services at our hospital.
 
This investment will re‑establish a cardiac centre of excellence, add 19 inpatient cardiology beds, and introduce a rapid cardiac assessment unit, helping patients access specialized care sooner.
 
For patients across Manitoba, this means stronger access to specialized cardiac care delivered by dedicated teams at St. Boniface Hospital.

Two Manitobans received life‑changing phone calls on March 26 as this year’s St. B Mega Million Choices Lottery winners.

Candace Swick Hnatuk, of Winnipeg, was named the Grand Prize winner and chose the $1.25 million tax‑free cash payout.

That same day, Murray Down learned he had also won big as the 50/50 PLUS Jackpot winner, taking home $698,200.
