Research suggests that up to 80–90% of women experience significant symptoms during perimenopause, including changes in sleep, mood, metabolism, and energy.
This transition can last 8–10 years for many women.
That’s a long time to feel like your body is unpredictable if you don’t understand what’s happening.
The good news is that when women begin to understand the biology behind this stage of life, many of these experiences start to make much more sense.
And when we adjust how we train, eat, recover, and manage stress, the body often responds remarkably well.
That’s exactly what we focus on in the full-day Perimenopause & Fitness course.
During the day we’ll explore:
• the science of what is happening hormonally during perimenopause
• why muscle becomes so protective in midlife
• how to structure strength training programs that support your body
• how nutrition, sleep, and recovery influence energy and metabolism
• how to train and progress without overwhelming the nervous system
My goal is simple:
To give women the knowledge and practical tools they need to feel strong, capable, and supported during this stage of life.
One of the most powerful parts of the course is simply being in a room with other women navigating the same transition.
There’s something deeply reassuring about realizing:
"It’s not just me."

Parkour! Ninja Warrior! Flips! Oh my, Winnipeg! Now is the time to register for Spring classes. Let’s face it; it’ll be awhile before the fields are dry so why not try out Winnipeg’s Premiere Parkour & Ninja Warrior facility. Preschoolers, school aged, tweens & teens; we have something for everyone! (Even the parents!) Classes start April 6.

Serratus Personal Training launched in 2007 with the goal of helping people improve their lives through fitness, strength, and wellness. Over the years, an extraordinary community has developed, as people came together to achieve their goals in a fun and supportive environment.
