It’s perfectly normal to be afraid to lessen your grip on counting calories, carbs, points, macros or consulting an app to see if it’s “okay” to have that fruit, drink...or whatever. Find gentle support and listen to that little voice that is sick of worrying about this stuff and...just try. You can always go back but trust me on this...you won’t. It won’t make sense to you anymore.

As Mean Girls taught us: calling someone else fat won't make you any skinnier, and using fatness as a punchline won't make you feel any better about your body, but it will reinforce oppressive belief systems that lead to stigma and prejudice against fat people, as well as contributing to lifetimes of fatphobia-rooted body image issues for everyone. It's also just... Not funny? People's bodies aren't punchlines, k? 💜💙💚🌈🌞

The impact of dieting on physical and mental health is not neutral, it harms both. Yet diet culture sells only promises of health and happiness. The reality is a life of constant hunger, white- knuckling cravings and obsessing about food 24/7 and then ultimately disappointment and self- blame. So wh...

You know I’m not one to ridicule others but seriously... This is a gym’s email bday greeting. Actually I’m enjoying a lovely day full of gratitude for the past year and planning a walk in my favourite place to consider the upcoming year. And then am blessed to have a family party with good old birthday cake. Seriously...can you imagine- hey guys, come to my birthday, we’ll start with a HIIT workout and pretend that brownie with a candle is a cake! ...ummm...unsubscribe.🍰
