the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation funds programs that support toddlers with mobility at a very young age? Through the Kids on Wheels program, young clients can explore mobility using Wizzybugs, electric toy cars, and other adaptive devices. These early experiences help children develop the skills they need to navigate their surroundings and eventually transition to a wheelchair with confidence.

Support the Friends for LIFE Cruisin’ Team! 🧡

The heart of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children's therapeutic recreation programs is this incredible group of staff. They work tirelessly to ensure every participant feels included, respected and empowered, all while having fun and building friendships.

This year, the team is aiming to raise $1,708.66, enough to fund one full Saturday Night for Teens program.

Saturday Night for Teens is one of our longest-running programs and a favourite among participants. This teen-only evening brings youth together to cook a three-course meal, enjoy special guest activities (like yoga, music, Zumba or art) and spend time connecting through games, crafts and Boccia.

Help them reach their goal and make an unforgettable night possible! 🌟

Congratulations to Bara’a on receiving a new bike! 🚲✨

Because of generous donors and thoughtful families, more children are gaining access to life-changing mobility and independence.

CRF recycles adapted bikes and funds a bike clinic to modify commercial equipment?

As children outgrow their bikes, families return them to CRF. The expert team at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children Centre for Children refurbishes and customizes them for a new user. Through this process, Bara’a was able to receive a bike that ensures that he can experience the joy, freedom and benefits of bike riding alongside family, friends and classmates.
