G is for Glasses houses full time optometrists, Dr. Jessie Fillmore and Dr. Jocelyn Radawiec. Frame brands include Jacques Marie Mage, MOSCOT, Andy Wolf, SALT. optics, Barton Perreira, Garrett Leight, Valley Eyewear, MYKITA, Ahlem, Mr. Leight, Kaleos Eyehunters, and 141 Eyewear. We also direct bill to most insurance comapnies!

Hello! Remember this fun artist-collaboration lens cloth project that we launched in October? Well, we’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to all of your support, we were able to make a substantial donation to MAWA !

The money that we raised through selling these lens cloth kits was enough to hire 5 artists to lead 5 more programs through the MAWA organization!
This is incredible news, and just really goes to show that small tokens of support (purchasing a $30 lens cleaning kit), can make a huge impact. We are thrilled to support our city’s arts community in this way.

GOOD NEWS… we still have lots of lens cleaning kits available to purchase, and we will continue to donate all of the proceeds towards MAWA, to make more programming possible. You can purchase lens cloths in the store, or in our online shop (link in bio).

Once you’re in the collector’s realm of the cult favourite eyewear brand, Jacques Marie Mage, you’ll understand the the thrill of shopping our RELICS collection.

A frame style is considered a relic when it is no longer available on the JMM website. This is truly an edit of frames for an eyewear collector, because once these styles are gone; they’re gone.

G is for Glasses is home to some particularly gorgeous artifacts from the history books of JMM— and we’ve recently added a large arsenal of new frames to our website, newly appointed “JMM RELIC” status.

Take a look at these beautiful works of art… Historically, these frames haven’t stayed available for long.

G hit up the town Saturday night with a big ol’ Jets win followed by our staple holiday dinner . The Macarena was done, a Vilardi Party was had and Pionk Pony Club (credit: ) was sung. This team here is the heart and soul of G. We are so thankful for their commitment to our little shop, their daily hustle, and the care they give to everyone who walks through our doors. And to all those who walk through our doors, THANK YOU from the bottom of hearts for supporting our small business, and for caring about independent eyewear. Yes we sell glasses, but it’s so much more than that. It’s about people, it’s about relationships, it’s about feeling good about yourself, it’s about community and feeling comfortable in our space.
