This week, we were honoured to welcome two special guest readers: WSD’s Kookum Marsha Missyabit and Minister Nahanni Fontaine.

Kookum Marsha shared her own personal story with our students, reminding us of the power of voice, experience and storytelling. Minister Fontaine joined us to read Forever Cousins and We All Love, spreading messages of connection, belonging and care.

💕 Donation Request: Baby Swings (Plug-In Preferred)
Hello everyone! 👋

I’m currently looking for baby swings to help support a family in need. Ideally, we’re hoping for:

✅ Plug-in baby swing (preferred)
✅ New or gently used
✅ Clean and in good working condition

If you have a swing you’re no longer using — or are able/willing to donate a new one — it would make a huge difference for a family who could really use a bit of extra support right now.

February, is I Love to Read Month! Visit any library branch on Saturdays and in the evenings during February to celebrate I Love to Read Month with free programs for the whole family and to sign up for a library card!

Registration for family performer programs is now open! All other February programs open on Monday, January 12 at 10 a.m.
