This afternoon at 1:30pm is Coffee Club, our weekly peer support and social skill-building workshop. Today is participant choice of games, puzzles, and activities that we have on hand and we will decide together what we want to do at workshop start.

Good morning,

Today at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Goal Setting Tips where we take a look at the proven ways to make it much more likely that we will make progress in the directions we want and choose for ourselves. We must make a plan and set times in our schedule to take steps, and follow up in order to turn our wishes and dreams into goals and targets that are much more likely to be achieved!

Next up at 1:30pm, this afternoon is Elevator Speech, where participants will learn the essentials, and be provided with a simple template to develop their own elevator pitch. Participants who have previously attended this workshop will be given the opportunities to get feedback for edits, and practice delivering their speech.

Tuesdays at 10:00am, we have Mindful Movement with Caryn leading participants through a routine of gentle yet effective stretching, breath work, meditation and mindfulness. This approach regulates the nervous system, while exercising the body and soothing the person.

Good morning,

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Re-Entering the Workforce, where we'll take a look at how to address some of the most common challenges of returning to job search after a hiatus from the workforce. This one is all about being proactive, proper preparation, and developing/using assertiveness skills!

At 1:30pm we have Top 10: How to Like Mondays, where we will explore ways to change habits, routines, and systems to make the beginning of the week more enjoyable. This type of approach also helps us embrace a positive mindset that makes it much more likely that we will have a productive and successful week.

First up at 10:00am, this morning we have Top 10: How to Increase Your Salary. The good news is that if employees are committed to learning and growth, they will be developing the transferable and job specific skills that actively justify raises and promotions.

Today at 1:30pm, we have Top 10: Conflict Management where we will explore the best ways to handle conflict in order to reduce it, and to set the groundwork to reach a mutually agreeable solution. Managing conflict appropriately and effectively can make or break professional reputation and opportunities.

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Following Up After an Interview, where we'll take a look at the best ways to follow up and follow through with employers to stay connected and continue to affirm you as a good choice for a job offer.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Job Search: Part 2. We'll pick up where we left off, then review the homework, that was assigned last week, together for the opportunity to offer each other feedback and encouragement.

This morning at 10:00am we have our First Impressions workshop, with our Top 10 Tips for presenting your best self when meeting new people. These tips are especially important when meeting employers at interviews, and can make or break these valuable opportunities.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, we have Top 10: Basic Money Management with simple, accessible strategies to increase financial literacy and take control of finances. No matter how much we have coming in and going out, building money management skills is always a good thing!

Good morning,

Today at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Balancing Work & Life, where we’ll take a look at boundaries and habits to develop that effectively manage responsibilities and leisure time. This balance is essential to personal health and wellness, growth and productivity: both in and out of the workplace.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, we’ll be taking a look at the 18 most common questions asked during an interview, and discussing how best to answer them. This workshop includes worksheets that provide participants with practice answering the questions. The completed sheets act as a tool for memorizing effective answers to interview questions and refreshing the memory before interviews.
