Happy Fri-YAY!

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Constructive Criticism where we'll learn how to accept critical feedback and use it to fuel skill development and future successes. This workshop incudes a quick mindfulness exercise that, when practiced regularly, is fantastic at retraining our brains (and ourselves!) to accept both criticism and compliments in an effective manner.

Good morning,

Today at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Being Stress Free in the Workplace where we explore ways to manage and reduce stress on the job. The transferable skills that are essential for stress management can be developed and grown long before becoming employed, and are exactly the types of skills many employers are looking for.

This afternoon at 1:30pm is Coffee Club, our weekly peer support and social skill-building workshop. Today is participant choice of games, puzzles, and activities that we have on hand and we will decide together what we want to do at workshop start.

Good morning,

First up at 10:00am we have Top 10: De-Cluttering where we'll explore a bunch of different approaches to purging and organizing stuff. De-cluttering our home and spaces clears the way for our future: both figuratively and literally.

This afternoon at 1:30pm we have Resume Development. This workshop is chock full of everything participants need to know to craft resumes that get noticed by employers.

Tuesdays at 10:00am, we have Mindful Movement with Caryn leading participants through a routine of gentle yet effective stretching, breath work, meditation and mindfulness. This approach regulates the nervous system, while exercising the body and soothing the person.

Good morning,

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Basic Money Management with simple, accessible strategies to increase financial literacy and take control of finances. No matter how much we have coming in and going out, building money management skills is always a good thing!

Next up at 1:30pm we have Self-Marketing where we'll take a look at how to use marketing tools and practices to enhance job search. Using common marketing and sales techniques for job search is a proven, effective approach to job search and career development.

Good morning,

First up today is Better Communication (in all Your Relationships), with our Top 10 Tips for improving communication with others. This workshop is a great way to start the week with a focus on active listening and effective communication, which is sure to create fertile ground for positive outcomes and achieving goals.

At 1:30pm this afternoon, we have Self-Compassion, where we will learn the definition of self-compassion, the elements of it, and a bunch of ways to practice it. Being mindful of our self-talk and treating ourselves with kindness can reduce our suffering, and improve our health, among many other benefits.

First up at 10:00am, today we have Top 10: Confidence, where we'll take a look at quick and accessible ways to boost confidence. These tips are great for temporarily boosting confidence before important things (like job interviews!), and when practiced regularly, they increase confidence in general.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Job Search: Part 2. We'll pick up where we left off, then review the homework, that was assigned last week, together for the opportunity to offer each other feedback and encouragement.
