This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Boundaries where we'll take a look at what boundaries are, and why they're so important in relationships, including relationship with self.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Hidden Job Market, which takes participants through the how's, what's and why's of this important, and often neglected, approach to searching for work. Tips and techniques for finding and accessing these hidden opportunities are provided, as well as a Network Tracker worksheet for organizing and recording contact information for effective follow-up and through.

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Stress Busters where we'll explore a variety of ways to manage and reduce stress, most of which are highly accessible.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, we have Disabilities Disclosure, which explains protections under the law and the advantages to disclosing disabilities to new employers.

First up at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Dress for Success (including hygiene musts!), which is an important part of professionalism that sometimes gets overlooked. We will explore the difference between business casual and business formal wear, mistakes to avoid, and tips for building a work wardrobe that gets noticed for the right reasons.

First up today at 10:00am, is Top 10: Back at Work Basics where we'll take a look at how to make a return to work a smoother, and more sustainable change. These tips can also be applied to entering the workforce for the first time.

This afternoon at 1:30pm is Coffee Club, our weekly peer support and social skill-building workshop. Today we will be making Bannock!

Good morning,

First up at 10:00am today we have Resume Tips, where we will take a look at the Top 10 things to include in resumes to make a memorable introduction to employers. The handout for this workshop works well as a resume cheat sheet, to help participants ensure that their resumes cover the most important and effective points of information.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Harassment in the Workplace which summarizes the definition and prevention of workplace harassment, including defining it as unwelcome conduct that can cause offense, humiliation, or injury, and covers different types such as verbal, physical, psychological, and quid pro quo harassment. It outlines the employer's responsibility to create a safe environment through policies, workplace assessments, and mandatory training for all staff. The workshop also educates employees on how to recognize harassment, the reporting process, and their rights and responsibilities.

Good morning,

At 10:00am today, we have Top 11: Benefits of Exercise where we'll take a look at the best advantages of having a habit of moving regularly. More and more, our lifestyles are likely quite sedate, so strategically carving out time to get moving is increasingly important.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, we’ll be taking a look at the 18 most common questions asked during an interview, and discussing how best to answer them. This workshop includes worksheets that provide participants with practice answering the questions. The completed sheets act as a tool for memorizing effective answers to interview questions and refreshing the memory before interviews.

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Time Management, where we’ll take a look at ways to use time to our best advantage. Building helpful habits and scheduling our days mindfully empowers us to grow, fulfill our responsibilities, and reach our goals.

This afternoon at 1:30pm is Coffee Club, our weekly peer support and social skill-building workshop. Today is participant choice of games, puzzles, and activities that we have on hand and we will decide together what we want to do at workshop start.

Good morning,

Today at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Goal Setting Tips where we take a look at the proven ways to make it much more likely that we will make progress in the directions we want and choose for ourselves. We must make a plan and set times in our schedule to take steps, and follow up in order to turn our wishes and dreams into goals and targets that are much more likely to be achieved!

At 1:30pm this afternoon, we have Self-Compassion, where we will learn the definition of self-compassion, the elements of it, and a bunch of ways to practice it. Being mindful of our self-talk and treating ourselves with kindness can reduce our suffering, and improve our health, among many other benefits.
