One thing nobody talks about in healing:
When your central nervous system finally starts to feel safe, your body can feel exhausted all the time.
If you’ve been in a state of hyper-vigilance for years or even decades your body is used to running on high levels of cortisol and adrenaline. When it finally starts to rely on its natural energy instead, it’s normal to feel drained.
This exhaustion is a sign that your body is learning to feel safe, and that real healing is happening. It takes time, patience, and gentle support for your system to recover fully.
