Growing Together is excited to begin our 3rd season. We recently hosted our meet and greet with the students from River East Collegiate and the EPH tenants.

The program will commence in January 2026 as a weekly after school program on Thursdays.

We are watching this program blossom and grow. Along the way we have formed connections outside of the group, working with Harvest Manitoba who has donated seeds, we then donated plants that the group seeded to Donwood Resource Center, and Community Roots gardens. We are excited to make new friends and community connections.

On behalf of the auxiliary team a big thank you to everyone who participated in our meat bun fundraiser.

The auxiliary team worked together with the Donwood kitchen to hand make each delicious meat bun. Thank you to the team for the care that was put into each meat bun. Thank you for rolling, pinching, counting and bagging meatbuns.

All proceeds go towards Donwood projects that support our goal of caring for Seniors with dignity, respect, and Christian values.
