Good morning Everyone and Happy Sunny Sunday!
We all know that “Acts of Kindness” can feel so amazing when it happens to us! It doesn’t really matter how big, or small these kind gestures are, they all inevitably do the same thing for our body, both mentally and even physically! Simple Acts of Kindness with others can raise dopamine and serotonin chemicals within the body to help alleviate, or calm stress levels, by stimulating the Vagus Nerve which can promote feelings of calmness. This social connection that develops, also, has a "physical component" as well as mental! Did you know that by reducing stress, and activating these levels of dopamine and serotonin, can also help to lower Cortisol Levels ( calming the adrenals down), lower inflammation within the body, helps to release Oxytocin (which helps in fostering trust), and with practice, can physically “re-shape” our brain by thickening the Frontal Cortex which is largely responsible for our empathy abilities and thoughtful decision making abilities! Performing simple Acts of Kindness is so important to re-balance our brain, and help with every day stresses, so much so that... why wouldn’t we want to do this activity, not only for those that receive, but for ourselves, which could definitely turn into a positive cycle that just keeps on “GIVING!” Let’s explore what these simple acts of kindness can bring to help to lighten and enrich your day, one day at a time! Enjoy! I guarantee that the SUN will look like it is shining so much more brightly…..💜
Here is my Block Therapy Class Schedule for Monday November 17 to Sunday November 23, 2025….
Monday November 17: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - ON ZOOM and “LIVE" with Me in person - for those that would like to join in, you are more than welcome to at any time! Please notify me if you would like to join in, so that I can send you my link to this class! Tonight we will be diving into the most important area that will help to lift the ribcage up and away from all of the pressure that gravity is putting on our vital organs! We will be working in the CORE and this area allows us to free up our breath by activating the diaphragm and helping to lift us back up into the centre of gravity and giving more space for the organs to have more space! Cost is $25.00 per class and email me, heather@fluidisometrics.com if you would like to join in, so that I can send you my link to this class!
Wednesday November 19: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm - IN PERSON - all is welcome to join me at Vector Construction located at 474 Dovercourt just off Scurfield Blvd. if you are wanting to come and join in, sometimes getting into the building can be a little tricky as the side door is what you want to enter, up to the 2nd floor. That door is located in the large parking area where you will see 2 separate doors and the one on the left hand side of that parking lot is the one you want to take you upstairs! You can always text me at 431-997-5014 if you need! Tonight we will be working on the lower half of the body in the PELVIS AND LEGS area, where it is important to work as much as we can up, and down, the chain of the body which is all connected with fascia and its adhesions that come along with it! Cost is $25.00 for 90 minutes of exploring this very important area of the body!
Thursday November 20: 10:00 am - 11:30 am - IN PERSON - once again, everyone is welcome to join me at the Kildonan Karate Studio located at 1115 Henderson Hwy up on the 2nd floor. This morning, we will focus on the HEAD NECK AND ARMS area of the body! As we get into the extremities of the body we tend to hold so much more of the adhesions that the fascia creates! This is a great opportunity to work down into the hands, and even the head (which is an extremity….being a part of the body farthest away from the heart, very much like the hands and feet, which can create the most adhesions)See you there! Cost is $25.00 for 90 minutes of exploration throughout mid back, as well!
I am looking forward to seeing you all this week!
I look forward to hearing if you would like to share, that is, any reactions you have received for your “Acts of Kindness!” Give it a go this week, but hopefully you experience some stress and inflammation reduction that you would continue! Thank you for listening to my WOW moment!s all of this time! I greatly appreciated you all for taking the time out to read! Always remember, that we have it in “us" to share our "gratitude for goodness" in others, even if it started by a very simple gesture!
🤗
