🍁 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to you!
To our wonderful patients and their families—we’re grateful for the trust you place in us every day. As someone who truly cares about your health, we want to gently remind you that Thanksgiving preparations and the feast itself can bring more than just joy—they can also bring stress and strain to your heart.
Between rich meals, emotional gatherings, and packed schedules, your heart may be working overtime. Dishes like salty stuffing, creamy casseroles, and sugary pies can spike blood pressure, raise cholesterol, and trigger irregular heart rhythms. Add in holiday stress and elevated cortisol levels, and it’s easy to see how the season can take a toll.
But here’s the good news—you can still enjoy every bite and moment safely. Choose lean proteins, fresh veggies, and homemade sides with less salt and sugar. Take a walk after dinner, breathe deeply, and focus on connection over perfection.
We wish you a joyful, heart-healthy Thanksgiving!
