Recent research suggests that receiving the flu vaccine may be associated with a reduced risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. One study indicated that individuals who received at least one influenza vaccine were 40% less likely to develop Alzheimer's over a four-year period compared to those who were not vaccinated.

Another report from the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) 2020 mentioned that at least one flu vaccination was linked with a 17% reduction in the incidence of Alzheimer's disease
