I have never posted anything like this before.
Many of our customers know that our business has been struggling greatly post-Covid. I have expressed thanks to almost everyone coming through the door, because they are keeping us alive. But even still, we seem to be hitting a breaking point.
Our newest location at Winnipeg Clinic must close, and it is now up for sale. The Optometrist with us there is looking to retire, has drastically cut his hours, and even with his efforts this past year and a half we have only been breaking even.
This process has taught me a lot, from learning more ways to cut costs, and becoming increasingly aware of my own spending. This is compounded with being drastically behind payment of our biggest lens supplier, and trying to figure out how to pay the 40k CEBA loan.
We have nearly hit the ditch so many times, that I have come to trust and believe it is God who has brought us this far, and He has been sustaining us! 🙌🙏🏻
But I also don’t believe we are constantly supposed to be living in survival mode, but rather should be able to focus our abilities more creatively on expanding and helping others.
We are not looking for donations and I am not starting a go fund me page.
My ask is simply this: if you pray, please pray for us. If you have enjoyed our services, please share about your experiences far and wide.
