Both Mobility and Flexibility are essential for functional movement and injury prevention, but they address different aspects of health and movement.

Flexibility is the ability of a muscle to stretch and lengthen through passive movement. When you hold a static position in order to stretch a specific muscle, you are improving your flexibility.

Mobility is the ability of a joint to actively move through its full range of motion. To improve mobility, we often recommend dynamic stretches that involve bending, lifting, or pulling a limb in different directions.
