Charting is extremely important in our job, and besides being a legal requirement, it offers a ton of value when you can document a patients progress over time. It just can be a little timely to do however….time that we’d rather spend with our patients! 🙌

Deep discussions were had at the last learning session about AI and its use in charting for our therapists….to save them time. Time that they can spend with their patients.

📣 Now offering Pediatric Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy!!

We are excited to announce physiotherapist, Sabrina Rossi, has completed advanced training in Pediatric Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy!

She is now certified to offer care to little ones and teens aged 0-17 who struggle with bladder and bowel concerns including bedwetting, urinary urgency and frequency, delayed potty training, urinary retention, constipation, and f***l incontinence.

These are common concerns — and there’s help available! If your child is struggling with bladder or bowel issues, pelvic floor physiotherapy can make a big difference and we are thrilled to bring this new service to our community! 😃

Sunset Goose Flight!

Physiotherapist, Ainsley, was able to take in the last sunset goose flight of the season at fortwhytealive last weekend. 🪿 🌅

For those who don’t know, Fort Whyte Alive is a 660 acre urban green space located in Winnipeg. They offer educational programming and outdoor recreation, and every year in the Fall, you can come see migratory birds flock to their lakes at sunset. The birds gather in droves before making the long trip South for the winter. It’s something to see!

Ainsley also got to try her hand at hatchet throwing while there, but didn’t even make it onto the board after several attempts, so *no* photos/videos have been posted 😆

Our Physios get together every month to review assessment and treatment techniques and to share the latest in research findings to keep our therapists up to date, & to better serve our patients. 😊

This month we discussed distal biceps tendon repair and post-surgical rehab, post-surgical distal clavicular repair and rehab implications, opioid Rx post-sx and their impact on patients, and more! It was an interesting learning session for sure 👍🏻
