The Winter Solstice is a sacred time to slow down, release what no longer serves us, and set intentions for the season ahead. May this turning of the seasons bring warmth, balance, and gentle healing to you and your loved ones.

On this day, communities across Canada and around the world gather to show support, remember those lost to su***de, comfort those who grieve, and strengthen our connections.

This year, the Canadian Association for Su***de Prevention is hosting a free virtual event:

✨ Indigenous Knowledge and Life Promotion: Changing Narratives on Su***de
🗓️ Wednesday, September 10

Featuring:
🔹 Elder John Rice, Elder/Knowledge Holder, Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family Services

Week of August 25–29

Our new home is really taking shape! Last week:

Round room brick veneer finished & stone pillar repaired

Siding, soffits & fascia mostly done

Drywall installed and first coats of mud applied

HVAC, lighting, and crawl space rough-ins progressing

Flat roof and parking lot improvements completed

✨ Next Week (Sept 2–5):

Roof relocation with crane

Main floor lighting installation

Interior and exterior doors being installed

Landscaping prep & parking lot line painting

Drywall finishing and exterior caulking

Progress continues every week — our home for healing is getting closer! 💛
