I realized today how much quicker my labour went once you arrived, Jennifer. After 16 hours of labour stuck at 3 cm, it was only 5 more hours until she was in my arms, and 2 of those hours were pushing.

I see now how having an experienced doula is so incredibly valuable in labour. Thank you so much for being there.

Your body doesn’t work on an insurance calendar.
Waiting until the end of the year to “use it all up” often leads to rushed appointments and less effective care. Research shows the body responds best to consistent massage, not last-minute cramming.
General guidelines:
• Acute pain or injury: 1x/week for a short period
• Chronic pain or high stress: every 2–4 weeks
• Maintenance & prevention: every 4–6 weeks

Spacing your sessions throughout the year supports recovery, nervous system regulation, and long-term pain relief.

Is this you? Do have persistent pain between your shoulder blades?
Here is why...
This pain is often due to prolonged poor posture, especially for people with sedentary jobs. For example sitting at a desk all day...This causes the shoulders to pull forward then causing overstretching of the upper back muscles and shortening of the chest muscles(pectoral muscles). The overstretching is where you will feel the pain.

Treatment for this includes posture correction, strengthening exercises and stretching.
Oh, and of Course therapeutic massage will also help greatly to alleviate symptoms and restore the muscle imbalances.

What is Included

1 Birth pool – 76”X 65”
1 Pool liner
1 Pump to drain pool
1 x food grade water hose (25’)
1 x Floating thermometer
1 x Debris (Net or Scoop)
1 x Tap adapter

You will have the pool for 3 weeks. You are responsible to pick up the pool from me but I will come and get it after the birth. All you need to do is pack it all back up in the bag it came in and make sure its clean and dry.
The liner just get tossed in the trash and the hose is yours to do what you’d like after. We supply a new one for each client. I will sanitize everything else to prepare it for the next person. The full rental fee (non-refundable) is due to hold it for you on the weeks that you choose.
