Put on your comfy walking shoes and join us along with many other people at the Manitoba Legislative Building at 405 Broadway in support of the Autistic Community.
There will be several speakers followed by the walk.
The event starts at 6pm.

We were in the gallery today to watch the recorded vote and celebrate the unanimous support for Bill 232. Today is a good day!!

👏 The Autism Strategy Act passed 2nd reading! 🎉

It has been incredible to see how quickly stakeholders, families, and organizations have mobilized over the past 48 hours.💪 It is because of the public’s effort (all of you) that bill 232 can now move onto committee. 👏
 
With that said, we still have A LOT of work ahead of us to see this bill become legislation!

We were in the gallery at the legislature this morning to hear the second reading of Bill 232 - The Autism Strategy Act. We are thankful to MLA Cindy Lamoureux for introducing this private members bill and her being a champion for Autistic Manitobans and their families.
If you would like to see Bill 232 move forward, please join us at the legislature again this Thursday between 11-12:00 to observe the recorded vote and show your support. The number of people in the gallery does make a difference.
Please also reach out to your MLA to introduce yourself and explain why this Bill is important to you, your family and our province. Ask them to support Bill 232 with their vote.

Continuity Care is sharing the following event hosted by Autism Alliance of Canada.
This is a great opportunity for our francophone community to come together around issues affecting those with autism and their families, service providers, etc.

ENGLISH:
Autism Alliance of Canada is pleased to invite you as our guest to an in-person Francophone Town Hall in WINNIPEG on March 13. The goal is to identify Francophone priorities in your region to help drive action in support of Francophone autism communities. Please read our blog for more details.

We welcome staff, members and families in your network with a Francophone or Francophile connection to join the town hall conversations. The town hall will be facilitated using World Café-style conversations and will feature key local champions to inspire in-depth round table discussions in French with an aim to:
Identify and discuss Francophone priorities that are unique to the region
Connect and network in French. Discover diverse perspectives
Strengthen capacity in Francophone autism communities
