Do you know what your A1C number is? Do you know what the AIC test is for?

The A1C test is a common blood test for diagnosing diabetes. For people living with diabetes, the test checks how well they manage blood sugar levels. The A1C test also is called the glycated hemoglobin, glycosylated hemoglobin, hemoglobin A1C or HbA1c test.

An A1C test result shows the average blood sugar level over the past 2 to 3 months. The A1C test measures what percentage of hemoglobin in the blood is coated with sugar, also called glycated.

The higher the A1C level is, the poorer the blood sugar management. And the higher the risk of having health concerns related to diabetes. Like Heart Attacks and Strokes!

My Story: I have been diagnosed as a diabetic since1999. Over the past year I have experienced everything you can think of. I let myself go and had the mind set that "nothing will happen to me". Don't kid yourself. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when! I've had two heart attacks, two stents put into my heart, Ketoacidosis, a leg ulcer, a toe ulcer ( which also broke over a year ago and has NOT HEALED YET, discussions of amputation are under way, neuropathy, edema so bad i had to cut my clothes just to get them on not to mention buying slippers 3 sizes my normal size just so they'd fit and I had a defibrillator implant. Now my heart operates at 25% - Congestive Heart Failure! Did I say all in the past year? YES!

Anyone suddenly wake up in the middle of the night with LEG AND FOOT CRAMPS SO BAD that you can't move?!!! WOW, I DID! The pain was so intense I wanted to cut my leg off. Every single night, in the middle of the night I would wake with this terrifying experience. I had these for several years, every night, in fact, sometimes during the day as well. I exhausted everything I could think of to prevent them. I drank a ton of water, I made sure I did sufficient stretching before my exercises, ate a balanced nutritional meal most days...nothing was stopping them...UNTIL ONE DAY...I FIGURED IT OUT! YOU WILL PROBABLY BE SHOCKED AT WHAT WAS CAUSING THEM! Once I figured it out, I HAVENT HAD A FOOT OR LEG CRAMP SINCE...AND THATS BEEN ABOUT A YEAR NOW! Anyone else have the same problem? This might be the cause of yours as well. Like and share this post. If I get 50...I'll post my results that made my leg and foot cramps disappear! :0)
