Today, on in Canada and in the U.S., we pause to hono(u)r those who’ve served—and those who continue to serve—with courage, dignity, and unwavering commitment to freedom.
This day holds deep personal meaning. Our company was founded and created the RAYMEX Lift in honor of LCpl Raymond McGillivary (our father / father-in-law), a proud Canadian Army Veteran who served overseas during the entire Berlin Wall Crisis. His legacy lives on in every lift we build, every Veteran we support, and every story we carry forward.
Raymond’s service meant long months overseas, with only letters to bridge the distance between him and his young family, including Dr. Gary McGillivary, our Chief Medical Officer. Today, we remember the Veterans who stood watch protecting those who needed it, the Veterans who gave everything for freedom and independence for future generations, and the loved ones who waited, hoped, and held the home front together.
To all who’ve served—and to those still serving—we thank you. Your sacrifice inspires our mission to build mobility solutions for those who’ve given so much, hono(u)ring your belief of freedom, independence, and dignity for all.
We remember. We hono(u)r. We continue.
And we miss you, Dad...every single day.
