53 years blessed. 🤍
While I do my best to soften the signs and symptoms of aging, I’m deeply aware of how incredibly fortunate I am. Life is wonderfully chaotic, imperfect, and full — and I truly love it.
I love my friends, my family, my amazing children (who have definitely contributed to a few lines and grey hairs 😉), our adorable puppies, my incredible husband, and of course, this business. Freedom and I have grown up together. We’ve evolved, stretched, learned, and transformed side by side — and I’m so proud of what we’ve built.
This birthday feels especially reflective. My father passed away at 51. Out-aging your parent is a strange and emotional milestone — one that brings both gratitude and sadness. He’s now been gone longer than we had him, and that reality quietly reshapes how I see time, priorities, and presence.
It’s a powerful reminder not to take life too seriously. Not to postpone joy. Not to prioritize work over play every single day. The journey truly is the destination. If we’re always waiting to “arrive,” we risk missing the beauty of everything happening along the way.
Self-love and self-care aren’t luxuries — they’re necessities. I’m on the same journey as so many of you: striving for balance, working hard at home and at work, checking the boxes, while still making time for connection, laughter, rest, and myself.
Here’s to living fully, caring deeply, aging confidently, and choosing presence over perfection.
Grateful for another year.
