Nourish, something I have never been good at allowing. The nourishment of my body and soul, the integration of the deep work dwelling within my being. The routine thumping of my heartbeat calling for more nourishment, is something I have easily pushed to the side or forgotten about for so long. This coming time of hibernation is calling to me, my soul yearning for the deep nourishment of warm broths, and garden squash. The crackling of fires chasing away the dampness that settles in your bones if ignored for too long. The laughter of those closest to you echoing in the rooms you've rooted yourself in for the season. The decadent way nature slowly retires itself in one final flourish of colour, leaving you in awe knowing that it is also time for you to turn inwards and preform the slow nourishing work, of feeding you body and soul. Providing dense nutrition to your physical being and dedication to your internal container which blesses you with so much.
As you feel the cool autumn mornings creeping into fall days, welcome the time for nourishment. Whatever that may look like to you.
