Reflexology is an alternative healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet and hands that helps promote the natural function in the related areas of the body. By applying pressure to these reflex points, you stimulate the nervous system and open energy pathways that may be blocked or congested. Reflexology is a great way to relieve stress and many people find it more relaxing than a full body massage (feel relaxed for 2-3 day after your session!). Reflexology helps to balance the physical, mental and emotional aspects of your whole body. What happens during a reflexology session?

•You will be lying down on a massage table with pillows and blankets
•Only the feet are touched, and occasionally up to mid-calf area. So no need to disrobe!
•There are over 65 reflex points on your feet that correspond to all areas of the body. Through pressure techniques, all reflex points are stimulated.
•At the end of the treatment I will address both feet, going over all reflex points again and covering all surfaces using shea butter or an oil
*Treatments are usually 45-60 minutes

Broccoli contains 70% of your DV for vitamin C in just a 1/2 cup!
Vitamin K1... essential for proper blood clotting and bone health.
Also contains folate, manganese, iron and potassium just to name a few!

Lets talk about ☆PROTEIN☆ for a minute!
Our diets should consist of three macronutrients. That is, protein, fat, and carbs. (Micronutrients are your vitamins and minerals --hence *micro*)
They are all important and affect the body in different ways. But, for now lets focus on protein! It:
KEEPS YOU FULL...Protein, is the most filling macronutrient. (Keeps you full with less food.) One reason for this is a hormone called *ghrelin*... the hunger hormone. Protein actually reduces levels of this hormone, controlling appetite.
If you need to lose some belly fat, swap out some carbs for some protein. I use My Fitness Pal and it allows you to edit your macro goals.
MUSCLE MASS... your muscles are made of protein. Its really important you keep your protein HIGH if you want to grow or maintain muscle. Keeping protein up will prevent muscle loss during weightloss.
BOOSTING METABOLISM...eating a high protein diet increases metabolism and burns more calories. Also, with more emphasis on protein intake, we typically will consume less calories. BUT ....please consume ENOUGH calories.
Consuming too little is going to wreak havoc on your metabolism and only going to do more harm than good and hold oj to fat longer than it needs to.
Now, all that being said... I'm ready to abandon my kids Halloween bags 😆🤣

This year has been one with a lot of new adventures for me. From starting a Holistic Nutritionist program to homeschooling my kids and everything Covid in-between🤪.
And here I am again at the start of yet another new adventure. And I am so excited for it.
I have always had a passion for helping people and natural health, I've always had the ability to connect with people heart to heart and build connections that always stay with me.
God has been moving in my life in such inspiring ways, and i continue seeing evidence of His workings that astonish me.
I have found something that completely aligns with my beliefs, with me and with my family and I couldn't be more happy to leave you all in the dark and tell you real soon just what it is! 😆😘.

Also, i think its improtant to document yourself. Measurements, photos, not just the scale. Probably barely ever the scale in my opinion. tbh, the scale hardly ever changes for me. 🤔 But those legs do. 😆🤦🏼‍♀️
And always have a goal. When you accomplish it, make a new one. Photos help to see the progress first hand. When you think you haven't come far do a little comparison😁

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE🎃☕
I havent been great at posting lately. Homeschooling 3 kids is a lot of work. The planning, prepping, preparing, teaching, reading, organizing, fighting, encouraging, biting of the tongue, removing of children from siblings, setting time-out timers, cleaning up, and adventuring fills most of my days.
And with all that being said, it sure does sound EASIER to just BUY the damn pumpkin spice latte. But alas, i did not (this time). I ventured into making my own. And i did, successfully! So yummy! I seared a recipe up on pinterest using real pumpkin, cashew milk, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and coffee!
If you're feeling movitvated and festive, give it a try! (I also made "pumpkin milk" for my kids using pumpkin, vanilla, cane sugar and milk! They loved it!)

Coconut Red Thai Soup🥥🌶🍲


I had so many recipe requests! 🤩 This is what i used - there's so many veggie options and alternatives. Use some or all, up to you. Soup season is approaching and I'm certainly making this multiple more times! Save it for later so you can too! Here you go!


• 1 can of coconut milk🥥

• 2 cartons of vegetable broth

• 1/2 yellow onion🧅

• 2 medium carrots julienne🥕

• 1 cup mushrooms sliced🍄

• 1 red pepper

• 3 bunches of baby bok choy🥬

• extra virgin olive oil

• 2.5 tbsp fish sauce (or tamari sauce if vegan)

• 2.5 tbsp red curry paste

• extra firm tofu (fry before hand for crispyness)

* sub for chicken if you wish

• asian stir fry noodles (i used 4 nests, cooked al dente before adding to soup)

• green onion (for garnish)

• red pepper flakes (for garnish)

• 1 lime

******

*Fry onions, carrots and peppers. Season with salt. Add in bok choy and mushrooms, cook for 2 minutes. Add broth, coconut milk, fish sauce, curry paste and tofu. I sprinkled some red pepper flakes in for an extra "zip". Simmer for an hour. Cook your noodles until al-dente and add those in.

* slice green onion and lime for garnish (i squeezed sliced lime juice into my bowl😉)

* garnish with extra red pepper

🎃Pumpkin Spice Muffin smoothie🥤because it tastes EXACTLY like a fresh pumpkin spice muffin, except WAAAYY better for you!
Heres the recipe i used:
*1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
*1.5 cups of cashew milk
*1 tsp vanilla
*1 scoop of
Pumpkin Spice Latte protein
* 1/2 tsp of pumpkin spice (homemade combo😉)
*1/2 frozen banana
This smoothie is high in vitamin A, potassium, and protein! Give it a try ❤

Easy on the digestive system, unique nutritional benefits, cleanses & detoxifies, aids in weightloss. Certain fruit/vegetable juices are more beneficial to specific organs or helpful with certain illnesses.
Giving your insides a bit of a rest is not a bad idea, it's actually extremely healing.
Here's what i juiced for me and my husband this morning: beets, apples, carrots and a little celery.🍎🥕the beets were a bit heavy, and it tasted a lot like Earth 😂. But drank 'er down and got it in me. 😜 I'll try something new this evening!

How do you quiet your mind? Where do you find peace?
I've needed a little more quiet time away from my phone lately. A little less thinking, reading, reacting.
We are starting homeschool tomorrow, that's what has been on my mind most lately. Its not a big deal, we are making it our own and going at a comfortable non-stressful pace. The kids are excited. I'm nervous-cited (nervous excited 🤪). But I'm confident and certain they are about to recieve far better than I could hope for otherwise.
