CCD is looking forward to a new Egyptian BSL3 laboratory project in 2022/2023. A long since mothballed BSL3 lab at the Egyptian Center for Research & Regenerative Medicine (ECRRM) will be re-certified and recommissioned in 2023.

Exciting news! Canadian Clinical Diagnostics is returning to Cairo University, Egypt soon to: a) Observe occupancy and review the status of the 600 square metre routine Clinical Laboratory we helped design;
b) Review the Program of Requirements (PoR) document developed during the design phase of the 600 square metre Animal/Human BioSafety Level 3 (ABSL/BSL 3) Laboratory;
c) Review the plans for the design & construction phases (next steps) of the ABSL/BSL 3 Laboratory vis-a-vis International BioSafety guidelines and standards.
What a significant and historic event for Egypt - the first and only ABSL/BSL 3 Laboratory in the Middle East/North Africa!
