We offer traditional or alternative services for any religious denomination, ethnic culture, or language group. A Commitment to Service – A Message of Support

We at Sweeny’s Funeral Home regularly work alongside staff at long-term care facilities. Over the years, we’ve formed many meaningful relationships, as our duties as funeral directors intertwine with resident staff members.

We recognize the care they provide to elders in our community and have witnessed first-hand the compassion and professionalism they provide. They are in negotiations to secure fair wages and benefits, and good working conditions. We whole-heartedly support them as they work towards equitable compensation for the services they provide.

As a small gesture, we’ve been visiting local picket lines and have been bringing meals and refreshments to those who are picketing. In some small way we hope it helps them as they navigate the days ahead.
