I haven’t posted in a while, things are insane but I will say that Crystalize Hospice although not in the location any longer will still be in business once the dust settles. Pictures of the interior and exterior of the previous location in Norwood as of Jan 18, 2026 at 7:45pm.
Will post more later but for now, I have a lot on my plate.

Was hoping to be opening today but some hiccups have occurred. Nothing I can’t handle but in January I can’t have anyone inside with no actual heat source so, we have to delay our opening 😞 Gives us some more time to get everything just perfect for when we have a heat source installed!

We’re almost done in the shared room and sitting area! Gotta move around the hospital beds and some touch up’s and plant arranging but it’s coming together beautifully 🙂 I can’t wait to be able to open the doors for Jan 1, 2026!!
Lots of personal effects (stuffies and such) are leaving to the camper soon 🙂

We got hospital beds today!! This is so exciting!! The painting is almost done in the living/sitting areas. We’re so close to having our first residents come join us 🙂

Things are moving along nicely up here on the hill. The animals are all here, floors in the sitting room and shared bedroom are done minus the trim. The walls are being repaired and painted this weekend and the hospital beds I am getting from Nakile are coming before Christmas. Crystalize should be set to be ready and open as of January 1, 2026 🙂
Also, we’ll have puppies soon!!! Stay tuned :)

The new floors are in for the shared room/sitting area 🙂 still have finishing touches and paint before we put the room divider up but we’re almost there! The “I love Nova Scotia” Artwork series by local artist Linda Peterson-Blades will be featured as a fun activity to find the hidden objects in each print..more exciting news to follow…and more pics as well 🙂

Spent our first night in the camper at the hospice property and man is it ever calm & relaxing. Got mattress protectors and sheets for the beds today at Giant Tiger. Things are slowly taking shape 🙂
