🚨 MISSING TEEN IN LOCKHARTVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA – MAKAYLA BRITTAIN, 15 – LAST SEEN MARCH 12 2026

📢 Makayla Brittain, 15, has been reported missing from Lockhartville, Nova Scotia.

Kings District RCMP is requesting the public's assistance locating missing teen Makayla Brittain. She was last seen on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her home in Lockhartville.

Makayla is described as female, approximately 4'9" tall, 130–140 lbs, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She normally wears glasses and has two small silver stud piercings in her lower ears. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink shorts.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Anyone with information on Makayla's whereabouts is asked to contact Kings District RCMP at 902-679-5555, referencing file 2026-329538.

Facial Anatomy Friday – The Orbicularis Oculi 👁️

The orbicularis oculi is the circular muscle that surrounds the eye. It’s responsible for blinking, squinting, and smiling with the eyes. Every time we laugh, smile, or squint in bright sunlight, this muscle contracts.

Over time, repeated contraction of the orbicularis oculi combined with natural collagen loss, sun exposure, and skin thinning can lead to the formation of the fine lines we commonly call “crow’s feet.”

At first these lines only appear when the muscle contracts (dynamic wrinkles), but as the skin ages they can gradually become visible even at rest (static wrinkles).

✨ How Botox can help

Botox works by gently relaxing the orbicularis oculi muscle. By reducing the strength of repeated muscle contractions, Botox can:
• Soften the appearance of crow’s feet
• Prevent deeper lines from forming over time

I recently had the privledge if treating this gorgeous lady 💕

This lovely before and after is of our nurse injector, Bianca, who I had the pleasure of treating. Her concerns were:
