What is FLOAT?

It’s a gentle invitation to pause, breathe and drift away from the noise of everyday life.

Each FLOAT session lasts 1 hour.

As you settle into your hammock, you’ll be gently guided through meditation and sound for 30 mins, allowing soothing vibrations to wash over you — calming the mind, softening the body and restoring balance within.

We’ll finish with reflections, affirmations and a wee herbal tea with a sweet treat — a grounding moment to bring you softly back to yourself.

Hello you beautiful bunch, I hope you are all well and making your way through January calmly and mindfully.

I just thought I'd do a little post to reach out to those of you who were lucky enough to be gifted vouchers for my healing room for Christmas.

If you were gifted a voucher for The Floating Feather and we haven’t met yet, I just wanted to say a very warm welcome 🤍

Perhaps you’ve never dipped your toes into the holistic world before… or maybe you’re feeling a little unsure about what to book, what to expect or which treatment would feel right for you. That’s completely okay.

In March, I’ll be running the Paris Half Marathon, something I never originally planned to do.

I signed up to go along and support my running buddies, but somewhere along the way I decided to push myself, step right outside my comfort zone and say yes to this incredible opportunity.

Running 13.1 miles through the streets of Paris will be a huge personal challenge for me — testing my endurance, resilience and belief in myself.

Sadly, this run now carries a deeper meaning.
In November, I lost my beautiful aunty Minnie to cancer. She would have been 70 on 4th March 2026, a milestone she longed to reach and celebrate.

My cousin Rusty Campbell has lovingly decided to hold her birthday party Fundraiser in aid of The Ayrshire Hospice on Friday 6th March and heartbreakingly, I’ll be in Paris for the race and unable to be there.
So this run will be my way of showing up.

The Ayrshire Hospice, is where my aunty spent her final days. The care, compassion and kindness they showed not only to my aunty Minnie, but also to my cousin and his wife, was truly remarkable. They made an unimaginably difficult time gentler, calmer and filled with dignity.

Minnie was a huge support to me, especially through my journey with The Floating Feather. She never missed an opportunity to tell me or anyone else how proud she was of me. Some of you would have been lucky enough to have met her at my events.

Putting her name on the back of my tshirt will give me the strength and power I will need on the day to get me across the finish line.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world. Every contribution helps support the incredible work of The Ayrshire Hospice and allows me to honour my aunty in a way that feels right.

As Hogmanay rolls in, I’m feeling really reflective and so, so grateful.

To everyone who’s recommended me, shared my name, tagged me, or passed my details on - I see you and I appreciate you more than I can say.

This year has been such a big one for me. A year of growth, learning, pushing past comfort zones and watching something I really believe in continue to grow. It’s been pretty incredible. My heart is full heading into the new year.
