My Story – Counselling with Glendré

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep longing to understand people — not just their words, but their unspoken pain, hopes, and the quiet battles they fight behind their smiles.

My journey into counselling wasn’t just a career choice; it was a calling born from lived experience. Like many, I’ve walked through seasons of struggle, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm. And through those moments, I learned the value of having someone who simply listens — not to respond, but to truly hear.

That’s when I found the power of empathy.

Becoming a counsellor was the natural evolution of my passion for people. I believe healing begins with connection — the kind built on trust, warmth, and compassion. My practice isn’t just about techniques or tools (though I use them), it’s about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be fully seen and heard.

My goal is to walk beside you, not ahead of you — to guide, support, and remind you of the strength you already carry within. Every person’s story matters, and in my space, yours will too.
