Yogveda Yoga Teacher Training
Yogveda Yoga is a new and very effective Yoga method that was developed by Shahid Khan. Shahid Khan was born in Mumbai, India, and was a long time student of the Iyengar family in Pune. All Yoga methods include Yoga Asanas “posture” and Pranayama “energy and breath regulation”, but if your body is not correct, for example there is an imbalance in the feet, the joints, the leg bones, the hip alignment, the spine, the shoulder opening or the head alignment to the feet and gravity, your Yoga practice cannot be correct. You can stretch the muscles but the muscles will move according to the joints and bones. If the bones are not straight the stretch will always be wrong. (see additional Yogveda Yoga flyer)
The Yogveda method restructures the body in a relatively short time with the necessary body correcting tools needed which are used during the class and at home to correct and align the body as quickly as possible so the Yoga Asanas and Pranayama have the best effect. In his years of teaching experience Shahid Khan has seen that if the body is not aligned, Yoga postures cannot be practiced as desired and the effects of the postures are not optimum. Even years of Yoga practice do not change the difficulties of a misaligned body. A straight neutral body is the key to Yoga. The teacher training
The teacher training has an intensive teaching practice to make sure that the participants have a thorough knowledge and are confident in practical teaching and understand the body to correct misalignments.
