80% of chronic disease can be prevented.

My chief physician told me after my stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, that even though I do have a mutation in my genes, the cause of my cancer can be found in my lifestyle. Genes are only 20 % responsible for my disease.

This means lifestyle has a way bigger power than we think.

Each habit we have and action we take in life has an effect either contributing to building our health or destructing our health, and in between.

Becoming the CEO of our health is key to healing.

There is not only one pathway to healing. Finding our individual pathway as bio-individuals is key.

Sometimes you don’t feel like moving.

Understandable.

Did you know, that movement through increasing blood circulation and lymph circulation reduces pain, helps to detox, reduces blood pressure and effects at least a dozen different aspects of health directly.

Even during chemo, on the day of my chemo I took a short walk each time. As much as what felt good. And it helped to start the detox process.

Now when I am tired in the evening and I still go for an hour of pilates, aerobic of other strength training I feel I have much more energy after than before.

Keep moving.

Essential oils are powerful, because the part of our brain which is responsible for emotions and memory is reached the quickest through smell.

This is why smelling e.g. lavender or other calming scents can quickly regulate our nervous system.

Physiological changes (e.g., changes in blood pressure or brain activity) can occur almost instantly upon inhalation of aromas. With cancer treatment side effects it can work just as effectively. E.g. Against nausea, relaxation, pain, fatigue etc.

I love the fact that previously humans could smell whether e.g. a plant was toxic and edible or not. They made their decisions based on their senses.

Even though our sense of smell has lost its sensitivity, essential oils work even when our smell is numbed by allergy or a virus.

Many artificial fragrances contain phthalates, synthetic musks, and benzene derivatives, which can disrupt the endocrine system, mimic hormones, and potentially lead to reproductive issues, infertility, and increased cancer risk.

For direct inhalation it is most safe to use scents that have a natural source.

I am looking forward to giving a speech about how I became a different and better person from my cancer experience, next week at FUN BAsel, Global Entrepreneurship Week

Cancer vocabulary overwhelmingly includes words like beating, fighting, “killing the enemy” and other military words which causes fear and positions this topic automatically as a taboo.

Each difficult obstacle in our life challenges our emotional capacity and our courage, whether it is to climb out of the pit we fell into or reaching another height of an entrepreneurial journey.

In both these cases we have to choose whether we want to fight our inner tiger or ride it.

Cancer for me triggered a change process from the inside out, making me a different and more resilient person.

I learned a lot while I was navigating myself out of the health crisis and I continue ever since to elevate my health to thriving instead of surviving.

Next week I will share a few of my change stories that I believe are relevant for anyone wanting to be more successful, fulfilled, in peace with themselves and maybe stuck with their change processes.

Come and listen, ask and reflect on the failure stories of the 3 presenters talking about the bright side of failure.

Hope to see you there.

You survived. You’ve done everything “right.”

But sometimes, you feel lost, not yourself any more, even if people think and say you look great and all is over. They think you are your old self.

You know you are not, even though you wish you could be your old self. Your heart is taking over your head.

You look “golden” on the outside — but inside you still feel purple. Looking for your colour?! 💛💜

You’re not failing at healing.
You’re learning to live again — in a body that’s asking for calm, safety, and trust.

You’re not broken — you’re becoming.
Healing after healing is its own journey — one that deserves compassion, not pressure.

💫 If you’re ready to gently restore your inner energy and reconnect with peace — my free guide will help you start.

After you finish the medical protocol you may feel again a wave of loneliness, uncertainty about your health. You may feel you are not yourself, you feel unsafe in your body.

I felt the same.

I was told I am healthy, but I asked "How do we know?"
My radiologist said "based on statistics"

But statistics is only probability. It is not me.

Then I figured it is my nervous system I need to take care of.

Healing does not end with treatment.

With understanding and practice it got much better.

But I needed to make the effort to ask for help, to not back away from my issues. I didn't pretend I am fine. I committed to growing self awareness and finding my blind spots. The medical protocol is powerful, but it's a system that does not give all the answers you may be looking for.

This is what the guide helps you with:
- uncover your fears and help to soften them
- gives a starting point to overcome them
- reconnect with your body
- start to quiet your mind
- helps to take a first step towards healing, not just physically but emotionally and energetically

💡 🤔 ❗️ How did they manage to overcome their dire cancer prognosis? 🔎 ❗️

Thousands of people have prevailed over dire-, short term terminal cancer prognosis, when medical science had nothing more to offer them. Many hundreds of these case studies have been documented by doctors in medical databases.

What did these people do to prevail? How did they overcome the “diagnosed impossible”? What can we learn from them?

Researcher, Dr Kelly Turner summarised in her book “Radical Remission” the 10 common healing factors she found based on interviewing hundreds of these survivors all over the world.

I am teaming up with other European and US certified Radical Remission workshop instructors, to help cancer touched people learn - in this workshop - how they can also adopt these mindset and immune improving lifestyle change factors to prevail.

Who is this Workshop for?
🥦 who want to make their cancer treatment more effective
✔️ who are proactive in building their immune system to be more resistant
💡 who want to be empowered to adopt these factors into their lives
🥦 who want to lower the risk of cancer recurrence
👉 who want a higher quality of life during and after treatment
💡 who have a high risk of cancer due to family hereditary reasons and want to prevent
🧐 who are interested in empirical research
👉 who want to trust their bodies again
🧐 who want to learn about themselves, because they understand that outsourced information is not always good for them
🌱 who need a source of uplifting role models of ordinary people achieving the extraordinary

Interested?

If this workshop is not for you, but you know someone living with cancer, ask them if they know about the The Radical Remission Project already.

If you are interested and fancy a discount, add code : JK10.

Free information session on 1 May., write "interesting" in the comment and I will send you the link.

HOW I DO NOT FEAR RECURRENCE?

Yoohoo cancer surviving and thriving. ❤️😄

September and October are my celebration months of conquering Stage 3. breast cancer and the Breithorn peak.

In September 2018 - right after my whole medical protocol - I climbed the Breithorn peak with 75 other breast cancer survivors. It was the most energetic two days of maybe the whole decade for me.
- October each year -, reminds me of the most important things I learned while overcoming cancer.

:

How I respond to events in my life is my choice. My identity is not defined by a diagnosis, a disease, outside conditions. My mind, my thoughts, my emotions have a direct impact on my body both in good and bad ways. I choose to find reasons for optimism, generate joy, happiness and a positive state of mind. This expands my thinking to find those directions and solutions that help me to feel good and better each day. Life wants to live ❤️❤️

Prioritise my health :

Getting through cancer and staying in long term remission requires me to prioritise my health and wholeness as number one importance in my life. I believe in building my healthy terrain and I enjoy self care, nourishing myself and others, nourishing my feminine energies, balancing being and doing. I follow and integrate science based lifestyle factors, I use lab testing in the priority areas of my body to become aware, assess and change.

Step by step lifestyle change is my habit :

Integrating lifestyle changes in my life together with medical and complementary options is not only fun but an effective process to keep my life and energy at a high level, prevent any illness and symptoms. to increase my overall well-being is a habit, like changing what I put on my plate to eat.

taught me dozens of things, from the feeling of and to the feeling of , that I can embrace this journey, build a new life instead of wanting to forget it and go back to my old life. The way I understand this process is instead of fighting cancer, grow out of it and let it behind.

THIS IS HOW I DO NOT FEAR RECURRENCE.

Putting your A -Team together is core when you are to thrive and overcome cancer!
The term “A-Team” comes from Dr.Keith Block, one of the fathers of integrative cancer care. You want to see that your recovery is supported on all levels and all fronts.

To take control of navigating your cancer challenge, it is wise to step a bit back after your diagnosis and put together your own A-team. Give yourself time to calm down, to digest all the news and feel confident with who are supporting you. Asking for help is not a weakness, but actually a success factor of your journey. It is not dependence to ask for help, but making sure you figure out what is overwhelming you and allowing yourself to receive help.

Allow yourself to reflect on what kind of help you will need :
- medical
- emotional support
- mental
- NEW, comprehensive knowledge
- household chores
- help with medical appointments
- people who ideally have experience navigating the health system
- connection to who have successfully overcome cancer
- second opinion of medical treatment
- functional/integrative/Anthroposophic medicine
- Which organisations and businesses offer help with what?

Make a list of an existing larger circle of relationships ( friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues ) who could help with daily tasks with kids, shopping, cooking.
Choose those people who you feel good with emotionally.

It is fine to have just a few active supporters.

It is important to accept that you need uplifting people and you cannot allow yourself to be drained of energy.

Never underestimate the value of support to make you feel better, able to let go of the weight and burdens of your situation.

If you need help to put together your A-Team including a multidisciplinary integrative medical team and your personal uplifting support team, I am here to coach you through. x
