HOW I DO NOT FEAR RECURRENCE?
Yoohoo cancer surviving and thriving. ❤️😄
September and October are my celebration months of conquering Stage 3. breast cancer and the Breithorn peak.
In September 2018 - right after my whole medical protocol - I climbed the Breithorn peak with 75 other breast cancer survivors. It was the most energetic two days of maybe the whole decade for me.
- October each year -, reminds me of the most important things I learned while overcoming cancer.
:
How I respond to events in my life is my choice. My identity is not defined by a diagnosis, a disease, outside conditions. My mind, my thoughts, my emotions have a direct impact on my body both in good and bad ways. I choose to find reasons for optimism, generate joy, happiness and a positive state of mind. This expands my thinking to find those directions and solutions that help me to feel good and better each day. Life wants to live ❤️❤️
Prioritise my health :
Getting through cancer and staying in long term remission requires me to prioritise my health and wholeness as number one importance in my life. I believe in building my healthy terrain and I enjoy self care, nourishing myself and others, nourishing my feminine energies, balancing being and doing. I follow and integrate science based lifestyle factors, I use lab testing in the priority areas of my body to become aware, assess and change.
Step by step lifestyle change is my habit :
Integrating lifestyle changes in my life together with medical and complementary options is not only fun but an effective process to keep my life and energy at a high level, prevent any illness and symptoms. to increase my overall well-being is a habit, like changing what I put on my plate to eat.
taught me dozens of things, from the feeling of and to the feeling of , that I can embrace this journey, build a new life instead of wanting to forget it and go back to my old life. The way I understand this process is instead of fighting cancer, grow out of it and let it behind.
THIS IS HOW I DO NOT FEAR RECURRENCE.
