Despite the major progress made, not all cases are closed yet.

To ensure the safety of all riders, it is essential that every potentially affected wheel is tested. We therefore kindly ask you to help us spread this message in your cycling community. Please encourage your ride mates, friends and colleagues to verify whether their wheels are affected by checking the DT Swiss ID on our dedicated Recall Page: https://www.dtswiss.com/en/recall

For those who have already registered their wheels but have not sent them in, now is the ideal time to do so - especially with a turnaround time of only a few days in our test centers. There may be exceptions in processing due to the festive season.

We are grateful for your patience and cooperation. Thank you!

Over the past several months, the recall has required significant attention and effort from our customers, partners, and DT Swiss staff. As of today, we can report a recall effectiveness with 80.3 % of all potentially affected wheels have been registered, retrieved, quality tested and sent back to the registered customers.

We are fully aware that a product recall causes inconvenience and disruption for every customer. However, the safety of our customers has been - and remains - our highest priority. When the first cases appeared, we did not hesitate and reacted immediately.

Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly, and some customers reacted with considerable annoyance at not being able to use their bikes for a certain period of time. Some wheels that have already undergone quality inspection still require replacement due to failed tests.

We continue to work relentlessly to resolve every single open case as quickly as possible.

We are grateful for the patience and cooperation, thank you!
