Lower tidal volumes and higher PEEP in ARDS? Not always. 🫁 At our latest in Churwalden, the message was clear: mechanical ventilation is evolving beyond one-size-fits-all protocols.
Lung-protective strategies should be tailored to each patient, guided by their respiratory mechanics, recruitment potential, and gas exchange.

A big thankyou to our outstanding faculty for sharing their expertise and passion—you continue to inspire.
And to our international participants: your engagement, curiosity, and motivation made this event what it was. We’re so grateful you made the journey to be part of it.

☀️Every patient deserves safe, uninterrupted care - no matter where they are in the hospital
With the first installation of the in Sri Lanka, critically ill patients at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL) can now receive continuous, reliable ventilation even during MRI procedures.

This milestone is about more than technology, it’s about protecting vulnerable patients when they need it most and supporting clinicians in delivering the highest standard of care. We are proud to take this step forward together with our partner Mervynsons.

💡 Continuing with our clinical series The Challenge. The Evidence. The Solution.
🫁The Challenge: During COVID-19, high flow oxygen therapy became essential in managing acute hypoxemic respiratory failure (AHRF). But one critical question remained:

⚠️Is it working, or is it time to escalate?

Those early hours are pivotal.

📊 The Evidence
✔️The ROX Index helps predict high flow success.
✔️A ROX ≥ 4.88 after 2 hours is associated with a higher likelihood of treatment success.
✔️Objective data.
✔️Clearer direction.
✔️Better timing.

🔍 The Solution
The integrates the ROX Index directly into the device, with:
✔️Real-time ROX calculation
✔️Bedside trend graph display
✔️No manual calculations
✔️Faster, evidence-based decisions

Because high flow therapy isn’t just about delivering oxygen, it’s about knowing when to act.

🧠Where decisions begin.

Exciting innovation at 35,000 feet ✈️ In the spirit of April Fools’ Day, we are (unofficially 😉) introducing the world’s first In-Seat Ventilator, now entering “test phase” on long-haul flights.
Seamlessly integrated into the passenger seat display, it delivers advanced ventilation monitoring with optimal waveforms, precise compliance tracking, and crystal-clear pressure curves…even somewhere over the Atlantic.

Key features include:
• Full ventilation mode support at cruising altitude
• Real-time waveform monitoring between meal services
• Turbulence-resistant flow curves
• Cabin-pressurized performance

Because wherever there is a screen…there could be a ventilator.
Innovation never sleeps, but today, it might joke around a little 😉

Something new is coming for our EMS follower and clinicians in prehospital care — where every second counts and conditions are anything but predictable. We have been working on it behind the scenes…and we are getting close to sharing it.
What do you think it could be? We would love to hear your guesses 👇

Make sure to follow us so you don’t miss it!

During resuscitation, ventilator setup can consume valuable time. ⏱️With CPR ventilation clinicians can start CPR ventilation directly from the screen. The ventilator switches to predefined CPR settings, supporting quick deployment during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. A solution designed to support simple and efficient workflows when it matters most.⭐

⭐Last week at in Las Vegas, we showcased our SDC interoperability demo together with Philips. Our shared vision: enabling the Silent ICU and moving toward a Smart Healing Environment, where medical devices communicate seamlessly to support clinicians.
Through Service-oriented Device Connectivity (SDC), we demonstrated how interoperable devices can help reduce alarm noise, streamline workflows, and contribute to safer and more efficient patient care.
A big thank you to our partners Philips and B. Braun for the great collaboration in bringing this vision to life.
