It has taken me a couple of days to fully ‚land‘ after Sunday‘s Mindful Pause Retreat.🌿
From the moment we shared our welcome tea, we stepped into a collective silence that held us through the whole day.
I was so moved by the presence of the group that I realized only afterwards that I had completely forgotten to take a photo of the Shaha Jeera ( black cumin) cake I baked! It was enjoyed in that powerful stillness before we finally broke our silence for our closing reflection.
A reminder to myself: some things are meant to be fully tasted and felt, not just photographed.
In these circles, I believe nourishing the body is a vital part of the practice. Before we began eating, I guided the group through a short meditation to prepare our senses for the meal. We then shared our meal in silence- allowing warm spices and fresh ingredients to ground us as we continued our internal work.
Thank you to those who joined the circle and honored the stillness so beautifully. I am still feeling the echo of that peace today✨
