As demand for qualified VR pilot training continues to grow across aviation, we’ve been thoughtfully evolving our leadership to support what comes next, while staying true to what has made Loft what it is from the start.
Sebastien Borel has joined Loft as chief executive officer, and our founder, Fabian Riesen, will serve as chief technology officer and remain a member of our board. Together, they will work closely to guide Loft’s next phase, pairing founder-led vision and product leadership with experienced commercial leadership to support global scale.
Seb brings more than two decades of aerospace and aviation experience across Airbus, Honeywell, Lilium and Jeppesen, with a strong track record of bringing advanced aviation technologies into real-world operational use. As CTO, Fabi will continue to deeply shape Loft’s long-term vision, product direction and technology strategy, building on the foundation he has established since day one.
Pilot training is changing, and we’ve been committed to moving that change forward. With this structure in place, we’re building on the progress already underway, expanding access to high-quality training worldwide and continuing to raise the bar for what modern pilot training can and should be.
