A 66-year-old patient presented with pulp necrosis and an acute apical abscess (PAI 4), with pain on percussion and palpation. Alongside conventional irrigation protocols, OdneClean was used for debridement with sterile water, supporting effective cleaning of areas that are often difficult to reach, including an MB2 canal and isthmus. At the 11-month follow-up, the patient was asymptomatic, and the lesion had reduced significantly (PAI 1), indicating strong healing progression.

A clinical example highlighting the importance of effective canal disinfection in achieving successful treatment outcomes.

A posterior tooth presented with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and symptomatic apical periodontitis. Radiographic evaluation revealed a complex anatomy with fused canals and significant curvature, requiring careful shaping and irrigation.

Canals were prepared to 30/.04, followed by irrigation using the OdneClean cavitation-based system and obturation in a single visit with AH Plus sealer.

At the 10-month follow-up, radiographic assessment demonstrated healing of the periapical tissues, with the PAI score improving from 2 to 1, indicating resolution of the apical inflammation and recovery of the surrounding bone.

Retreatment case of a #19 with symptomatic apical periodontitis and a large periapical radiolucency

At 3-month follow-up, radiographic healing is visible with reduction to a medium-sized lesion (PAI 4).

The case was shaped to ISO 30/.06 and debrided using OdneClean, a cavitation-based system that delivers sterile water through a 190 µm tip to generate hydrodynamic cavitation within the canal.

Healing is a process.
Predictability starts with proper cleaning.

In Vivo Case-Based Investigation: OdneClean Performance in Mandibular Molar
A mandibular molar scheduled for extraction was treated using a standard endodontic irrigation protocol, with additional irrigation using the OdneClean protocol applied in selected canals. Following extraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was performed to enable a side-by-side comparison of canal surface cleanliness between standard irrigation and canals receiving additional OdneClean irrigation.

SEM evaluation showed very clean dentin surfaces in canals treated with OdneClean, with minimal instrumentation debris and fewer surface residues compared with standard irrigation alone.
