🎉Celebrating 20 Years of Accredited Calibration Service🎉

In 2025, the Socorex Service Centre has hit a major milestone!

What started 45 years ago as a small initiative to maintain instrument performance has grown into a cornerstone of our operations.

Two key milestones over the years:
🔹 Creation of an additional dedicated calibration laboratory
🔹 Achieving ISO 17025 accreditation in 2005

🏆And the winner is…?

Congratulations to Raphaël Siegenthaler from Haute école d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Fribourg (HEIA-FR)!
He is the winner of the Socorex Science Merit prize for his outstanding bachelor thesis in chemistry:

"Optimisation of the TGA-GC/MS method for studying mass loss in soluble coffee at temperatures above the glass transition temperature"

Since 2017, Socorex has been committed to rewarding graduating students with a prize for their achievements at Swiss schools for laboratory professions and universities of applied sciences in the fields of life sciences and chemistry👩‍🎓

Every year, we support graduates of more than 15 schools at their diploma ceremonies, and to date, over 250 prizes have been awarded by Socorex.

We are excited to continuously invest in students bringing scientific innovations forward!
