Human being develops mental models to define learning processes. We have a lot of different ones to understand our personal development. One of them I like is the concept of spiral dynamics. May be because it is also referring to DNA...
Life is like a "game" with different levels of awareness/mindfulness. We all know the Maslow concept. This one is more detailed.
Unfortunately, I do reach a lot the turquoise holistic level, this moment of awareness you have the feeling to see the "big picture". This clarity of mind, it makes sense to you, spiritually, ecologically, physically, mentally etc. This moment you could see the different connexion, interaction, network effects and synergies.
One way to reach it, is to have strategic thinking, define holistic objectives for an important goal in your life and control your agenda. Then to establish the culture, habits and mindset to achieve it.
I often think about this model to force me to elevate my awareness, be more mindful and continuously improve life.
thank you who first makes me aware about this concept that makes sense to me.
"people who do not have objective could not achieve it".....
More we will try to reach this level altogether, better will be our world, because we are all connected to shape it.

As a commitment to read 12 books in 2021, I finish this year with “at the dawn of humanity” written by my friend Yannick Le Guern and his Partner Laura. I was to Mauritius island to a quiet place, ideal to start and finish it…

First, I like it because I have known Yannick for more than 30 years now! and I could feel that he stays loyal to his values. The desire to impact the world to live better, to dive deeper into what it means to be human beings and more than all how to live better all together.

Second, they give their perspective by 2030 how the world may evolve with a deep analysis of trends.

Third, they explore and propose ways to move from thinking to actions.
A key word is social entrepreneurship. How to impact the world by doing good and doing well for people at the scale of territories, nations, supranational and at this end the globe!

It means how to set up a governance of globe level with this principle that we have humans with the same features and we could not treat it completely independently. However, they reflect that actions need to be at a territories level.

I recommend this book to explore social entrepreneurship, how we could support this beautiful idea as a “middle way” to reinvent our world.

After more than 15 months under COVID restriction, I was excited again to visit our team to our 2 US sites, one in operation in Millburn (NJ) and another under construction (IN).

More than that, it also helps me to reflect about accelerating few projects that finally was not the critical one at this stage. By not being able to observe what is going on, I could lead the team in the wrong direction.

After more than 15 months under COVID restriction, I was excited again to visit our team to our 2 US sites, one in operation in Millburn (NJ) and another under construction (IN).

Despite many late meetings with my US colleagues through the screen and overseas, nothing could replace human touch to connect, exchange fast to better understand our challenge and responses with impact.

More than that, it also helps me to reflect about accelerating few projects that finally was not the critical one at this stage. By not being able to observe what is going on, I could lead the team in the wrong direction.

I came back with new ideas, reset expectations with regards to what we could achieve and the moral of the team.

By evolving our growing radioligand platform, we also need new capabilities and pivot organisation structure but not our strategy.

Being few months of a second launch of our history, it gives me lot of energy to face this challenge when we see the need of early access program and feedback from health community. It is all about ex*****on now.

From Jenny Campbell during annual event, we review resilience mechanism with 5 principles:
1)     Do it for real
2)     Use data – enable real time views at all levels
3)     Embed into your day to day processes
4)     Make it a team building
5)     Listen into the evolving needs, adapt.

Why may organisation kill resilience dynamic?
- lack of psychological safety,
- workload,
- agency,
- misaligned
- culture.

I learn the concept of Resilience Dynamic from breakdown to break through and data driven tool by resilience engine.

It was the first time I hear about data-analytics to measure resilience.

I am looking forward to exploring more what we could learn from here to face our challenge.

My definition of Resilience : path to overcome a challenge that we are not sure to succeed with. It is about feeling the fear to fail to move positively and not to freeze!

When I was 6 years old, by chance, I met a woman in a holiday club with my parents. I was intrigued by the concentration of this lady. Noticing it, she told me : “do you want to play?” Yes, I like the pieces but I do not know the rules of games. She told me “do not worry, I will teach you, we are on holidays, I have time....”. Each day I had a session with her. I felt attracted by the game. Later, I took the habit to buy a chess board when I was travelling to east countries, well known to like this game too (such as Russia, Poland, Ukraine...).

Recently, I am starting to play again through an app (Chess.com). It was after a contact told me the benefit of this app (you play when you want with a diversity of players all around the world!).

Quickly I become again addicted to this game. The morning, I take my phone first to see if others have moved a piece. During dead time, I review the party in progress to see what could be the best move....

I was surprised how fast I have entered again to this game that seems to follow my life. Any person that will ask if I want to play, I could not resist to go.

So I reflect why I am so attracted to this game as I want to control the time I spend to my mobile? It is counter-intuitive.
In fact, I find these reasons:

1) I like strategy
2) I like to be competitive
3) I like how humans create game with rules to feel emotion that could help you to the real life. In fact, chess could be seen as the ancestor of video-game...
4) I like to improve thanks to an opponent that is in fact your partner to develop you and mirror you.
5) It is only 8x8 cases and 6 kind of pieces with different skills as we are with more than 1 million combination
6) The party is never lost (til this end..). Even in difficulty you could trust you could win even if you are not in good shape and sometime it happens. It builds your resilience.

At the hour of machine learning, It fascinates me how human brain and machine have a different approach and start to be equal (watch https://lnkd.in/dpkYPmbx, https://lnkd.in/dz4Fhc5f).
To conclude, this game helps me understand myself better, to explore new virtual territory of my brain.

And for you, what is your favorite game that helps you to develop you and stay regularly in your life from your youth?
