ESPID 2026 Travel & Participation Awards! ✈️

Apply now for the ESPID Travel Grant or Participation Award and receive support to attend ESPID 2026 in Bologna!

Open to all ESPID members or those applying for membership.
If you’re submitting an abstract, make sure to do so by 20 January 2026 — your abstract ID will be needed for the application.

Awards are granted based on a points system considering qualifications, country income level, abstract submissions, and sustainability. Applicants choosing eco-friendly travel 🌱 may receive extra points.

Travel Award recipients receive support for travel, accommodation, and free registration.
Participation Award recipients receive free registration.

The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases - ESPID

The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases, ESPID, forms the basis for European investigators interested in infectious diseases in children and infection prevention in childhood. The society is engaged in a number of activities including the organisation of multicentre trials, international exchange of infectious disease fellows and an annual Meeting. Membership includes subscription to the Paediatric Infectious Disease Journal in addition to many other benefits.
