I invite you to take a moment to turn your attention inwards and feel.

The moment I realised I didn’t truly know how to explain my work.

In 2014 I was invited to present sound therapy on BBC television. The presenter was a respected journalist known for his clear thinking and direct questions. At first the conversation felt relaxed, but as he began asking how sound therapy actually works, I noticed something uncomfortable happening inside me. I found myself repeating explanations I had learned during my training — ideas about chakras, energy, and the power of the bowls — yet none of it felt precise enough to stand in that moment.

What struck me afterwards was not doubt about sound itself. I had already experienced its effects personally and had begun working with people. The difficulty was that the language surrounding the practice often relied on symbolic explanations rather than observable processes. When the interview finished I felt slightly embarrassed, but it also opened an important question: if sound genuinely helps people, what is actually happening in the body when someone listens?

Before this work I trained as an engineer and spent twelve years working in software consulting. That background pushed me to approach the question differently. Instead of relying on inherited explanations, I began paying close attention to what consistently happened during sound sessions. Over time a pattern became clear. Before emotional release or insight appeared, the body usually passed through a quieter phase where breathing slowed, muscular tension softened, and attention became more stable.

When the system settles in this way, perception begins to widen. People often start noticing internal signals that were previously hidden beneath stress, distraction, or constant thinking. Sound does not force these changes, but rhythm and vibration can help create conditions where the body becomes easier to feel and attention begins to stabilise.

From that point something very simple can happen. People begin to listen inwardly again, sometimes discovering clarity that had been difficult to access before.

I am curious how others here usually explain what happens during a sound session.

I enjoyed it so much…shall I schedule a new one like this? 🤗

Sound is more than something we hear.
It is something we enter.

Through overtone singing, the voice creates multiple frequencies at once. These vibrations speak directly to the nervous system, bypass the analytical mind, and invite the body into a different state of being.

You do not need to understand it.
You only need to feel it.

Allow the sound to move through you, soften inner tension, and reconnect you to a deeper, more coherent inner space.

This is sound used intentionally — as a tool for regulation, presence, and inner alignment.

A simple 20-minute sound session brought a remarkable shift.
By placing my leg between two singing bowls and striking them gently, the vibration travelled through the tissues, calming the nerves and releasing natural endorphins.
The pain eased, my body relaxed, and I could finally breathe again.

One session is helpful.
A series of three sessions, one week apart, supports deeper and longer-lasting relief.

Even a few seconds of toning can awaken sensitivity in your body and reconnect you to your natural energy flow.

Try it now: close your eyes, make a gentle tone, and feel the vibration inside.

🎧 Sound is the shortcut to presence.

Humanity has forgotten how to listen.
We analyse, interpret, and name — but rarely feel.

Sound is more than what enters the ears.
It’s vibration that moves through every cell, reminding us that the body itself is an instrument of perception.

When we listen with our whole being, thought becomes still… and we begin to remember.

🎵 Reawaken your inner resonance.

Overthinking blocks what truly heals you.
Because the more we live in our head, the harder it becomes to feel the light within us.

Sound doesn’t heal by itself — it amplifies and connects what’s already inside.
It bridges your mind, body, and heart, helping you access your inner healer in a direct and powerful way.

The heart is the real healer.
It brings everything together — your emotions, your energy, your truth.
But when the mind takes over, that connection fades.

Sound cuts through the noise.
It helps you drop into your body, awaken your heart, and remember your own light.

So next time you play or listen to sound, don’t just focus on the technique.
Feel it from the heart.
That’s where healing begins.

🎵✨ This instrument? Useless.
Without you, it’s just metal and vibration.

The real instrument is you. The gong only becomes sacred when your energy flows through it.
The more you’re centered, grounded, and connected to your own energy — the deeper your sound healing becomes.

It takes time. It takes self-work.
But instead of focusing on the instrument, focus on yourself.
Because the more you expand your presence, the more your instruments will sing your truth — and transmit healing to others.

A little bit about Othman Haddad (a.k.a Otto)

Imagine that your Mind becomes your friend instead of your enemy. How would you feel about having a lot of energy, taking control of your health and being satisfied with everything you do?

Does it sound like a Fairy Tale to you? Yes to me too, but there is more to it!

My name is Othman Haddad (a.k.a Otto) and since a very young age, my personal journey involved hanging suspended between two worlds: the logic of my mind and the emotions of my heart.
