Another successful training on the books!

We welcomed a fantastic group of participants to Mannheim, Germany, for our “Product Training Surgical & Diagnostics” – three days of hands-on learning, in-depth product deep dives, and great conversations.

The training covered key solutions from our surgical and diagnostic portfolio, including METIS 900, Elara 900, Refractor 900, Octopus 900, and Octopus 600.

Connecting with the next generation of talent.

On March 27, we took part in the “Lehrstellenbörse Bern 2026” – a regional apprenticeship fair where companies connect with students who are exploring their future career paths. This year, around 1,500 students visited the event, most of them at a pivotal moment in deciding what to do after school.

Representing us were two apprentices from our Swiss headquarters: Yanik Moser, in his fourth year as a polymechanic, and Alessandro Mägli-Barbosa, in his third year as an IT specialist. They answered questions, shared their own experiences, and gave students a real, firsthand look at what it means to train at Haag-Streit.
