This bear was made to celebrate a young girl growing up and transitioning from lower school to middle school.

This Memory Bear is very special to me as it is made out of my childhood dress, which is now 40 years old. I have very few mementos from my childhood so this dress is treasured. Until now, the dress lived in a box in the cellar. Now I can look at my bear everyday and enjoy seeing my dress.

I made this bear for the mother of a 3 year old boy. She wanted to treasure some of his baby clothes and have a keepsake she could enjoy forever.

Each paw is made from a favourite hat. The right paw a winter hat and the left paw a summer hat.
