Case Spotlight: A 62-year-old woman experienced a severely comminuted intraarticular fracture of the distal radius following a fall from standing height - a seemingly minor incident with major orthopedic implications. Presenting with intense pain, swelling, and visible wrist deformity, she underwent surgical treatment using the modified volar Henry approach. Fixation was achieved with a volar locking plate, restoring joint congruity and ensuring distal radioulnar joint stability.

The outcome? Excellent alignment, secure fixation, and a smooth rehabilitation process.
